Can we deactivate custom animal groups?

we have so many groups in our custom animal groups and the list is becoming cumbersome to handle when entering a new animal  ... i was told there is no way to deactivate groups and should put a suggestion here  thank you

      thanks for your response   we dont want to delete them   just make them inactive    in case we need to look back at them,   we keep track of  the number of cats we  S/N and also clinics for  clients  who S/N their pets   we dont want to delete them   just deactivate them off the list   but apparently that not doable

        Jean,

        You can delete any unused custom animal groups by going to Animals > Custom Animal Groups and then selecting the checkbox next to the group and then using the dropdown to delete it.  


        Please note you must not have any animals in the group in order to do so.
