Hi Lisa,
There is currently an open Improvement Request that addresses this issue. You can find that request in our JIRA issues tracking system. To login to JIRA, use the same username and password that you use for this Q&A system. You can then upvote, watch, and comment on any issues you see that you feel might be beneficial to your organization.

Would like to be able to add the name of the adoption rep who worked with a contact on an adoption. A comments field within the adoption tool for an adoption would allow us to track this information.
This field would also be helpful for when an animal is returned to us. We could indicate within the adoption listing why they were returned.
Are there plans to implement any custom fields in the Adoption screen? We would really love to have this!
Lisa, we don't have specific plans at this time, but you can definitely vote for this request so we know how popular the request are when we plan our enhancements.
