Is data submitted for the Online Forms encrypted, or is it submitted over clear text?

Is the data submission encrypted (using SSL)? Or, is it submitted over clear text?

        The answer to this question depends on how the Online Forms are being used and displayed to your visitors.

        Currently, the RescueGroups.org website service does not support SSL, so if you are using the Online Forms feature on your RescueGroups.org website, the answers would be submitted in clear text.

        However, if you are using the Online Forms iframe service, you could use SSL/HTTPS in the iframe tag.

        Regardless, you are not permitted to collect sensitive information via the Online Forms service, or any other RescueGroups.org feature or service. For example, driver's license numbers, social security numbers, credit card numbers, etc. are not permitted in your RescueGroups.org account.
