What triggers the button "up to date"

In the Administrative Information section there is an option called "Up to Date". 
What data might trigger this radio button to Yes or No?  Or is it done manually by the rescue data entry personnel?

      Hi Anna,

      The "Up-to-Date" field is manually set by your team to indicate if the animal is up-to-date on its vaccinations. You can read more about specific Animal fields like this one in our user guide:

        This is WONDERFUL news, Emily! We are planning to use this as a way to signal that a dog has had all the necessary vaccinations, sterilization and microchipping (as appropriate).  We hope this will provide a "quick glance" on the home page for our team.

        I expect we can run reports now off this discrete field?

        Sure, you can create a custom Animals report that includes a filter for the Up-to-Date field set to the appropriate value (depending on which animals you want to view in your report). Here's more information on custom reports: Creating custom reports
