There are two ways you can get a list of information for just specific animals.  Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, one option might work better than the other.

      Option #1: Views

The first is to use one of the existing Views on the Animal List.  You can find that by going to Animals > Animal List.  There is a Views drop down, and you can find views like Adopted only, Hold only, Pending only, etc.

There are not Views already created for every animal status, so you might not find what you are looking for.

But, you can create your own view.

So, for example, if you wanted to create your own view so you can see a list of all of the animals that have a status of Released.  Here are the steps:

(There are additional instructions on adding a view here: http://support.rescuegroups.org:8091/x/8YEh)

      1. Click Animals > Animal List.
      2. Click the Add Datatable View button.
      3. Enter a Name for the new view.
      4. Click Save View and Add Filters.
      5. Select Animals: Status from the Field drop down.
      6. The Operation "equals" should already be selected.
      7. Select the check box next to one or more animal statuses (for example, Released).
      8. Click Save View Filter.

You will find the new view in the Views drop down.

      Option #2: Reports

You can create a custom report on any information in the system.  You can create a report of just animals of a certain status.

      1. Click Reports > Create a Custom Report.
      2. Select Animals from the Report Source drop down and click Next Step.
      3. Select the field(s) you'd like to include in the report and click Next Step.
      4. Under Filters click Add a Filter.
      5. Select Animals: Status from the Field drop down.
      6. The Operation "equals" should already be selected.
      7. Select the check box next to one or more animal statuses (for example, Released).
      8. Click Save View Filter.
      9. Click Run Report.

You can save your custom report if you'd like to run it later.
