Adopt-a-Pet
Adopt-a-Pet.com does not support animal-specific locations. You must create multiple accounts with them for animals to show up under different zip codes. You would select the appropriate Adopt-a-Pet.com export account(s) for each animal.
Petfinder
We cannot update the animal-specific location on an animal in Petfinder. To have us update your Petfinder list, you must create multiple Petfinder accounts. You would then select the appropriate Petfinder export account(s) for each animal.
Important information about Petfinder: The Sync App does not set the pet-specific location when adding pets to Petfinder. However, you can manually change the location on an animal. Please see Can I manually update the animal-specific location on Petfinder? for more information.
If you manually change the location on a pet it should remain the same (the Sync App will not change it back). Be sure not to make any other changes, otherwise, you risk losing those changes.
