Standard Export and Events

Locations are used to detail the specific address or zip/postal code of an event or animal.  Locations are used primarily with Events and Animals.  This information is presented in detail on our About locations feature page linked here: https://userguide.rescuegroups.org/display/PORTAL/About+locations

You can add animals from different locations into one RescueGroups.org account.  For each animal you would select a location.

Adopt-a-Pet

For Adopt-a-Pet.com , they do does not support animal-specific locations.  So you would need You must create multiple accounts with them for animals to show up under different zip codes.  You would select the appropriate Adopt-a-Pet.com export account(s) for each animal.

Petfinder

We cannot For Petfinder, there is no way for us to update the animal-specific location on an animal .  The only way for us to update Petfinder for you and keep the multiple locations would be for you to have multiple accounts with Petfinder.  You in Petfinder.  To have us update your Petfinder list, you must create multiple Petfinder accounts.  You would then select the appropriate Petfinder export account(s) for each animal.
