One of the features of your RescueGroups.org Website service is to update your Petfinder web page. This is not related to updating the animals listed on Petfinder.
The Petfinder home page will look exactly like your RescueGroups.org home page with the addition of the required links that are required in the Petfinder Terms of Service (to the best of our knowledge).

To the best of our knowledge, the RescueGroups.org Home Page Upload meets the Petfinder Terms of Service (TOS). Regardless, if you are questioned by Petfinder concerning your Home Page (some organizations have reported that they have been harassed by Petfinder "Outreach") please contact us immediately and we will assist in resolving any issues. |

How to enable the automatic update of

your Petfinder

- Request your custom HTML code for your Petfinder home page from RescueGroups.org Support. Continue below with step 2 when you have received the content.txt file from RescueGroups.org.
- Login to your Petfinder "pro" account.
- Click the Home Page Mgr tab.
- Click the Advanced Set-up tab.
- Check the box Yes, override my default home page with custom HTML entered below.
- Click inside the Custom HTML box and delete everything that is there (if you were already using Custom HTML you may want to make a backup copy of the code before deleting it)
- Open the content.txt file you were given from RescueGroups.org Support.
- Copy everything from the content.txt file into the Custom HTML box.
- Click Save.
