To upload animal data from Animal Shelter Manager to RescueGroups.org, follow these instructions::you must have an account h with RescueGroups.org, and a RescueGroups.org FTP account.  

Signing up for a RescueGroups.org account

1. Go to Sign up for an account with RescueGroups.org if you don't already have one. You can do that on the RescueGroups.org website: http://www.rescuegroups.org.
2. Click the Sign Up link Up  link from the top menu bar and fill .
3. Fill out the information on the form.

If the service you are currently using isn't doing everything they could to help you and your animals, please consider switching to one of the community-focused companies which are working with the rescue community.

    

   After your account is created, create an FTP account.  Please see the FTP article in this guide for additional information about creating an FTP account.

Creating an FTP account

1. Log in to your account at https://rescuegroups.org.
2. Go to Services > FTP Account.  If you do not already have an account, it will automatically create one for you just by going to this page.Create

Creating a data import from ASM

1. Log in to your account at https://rescuegroups.org.
2. Go to Animals > Imports.
3. Click Add an Import Account.
4. Select Animal Shelter Manager (ASM) for Configuration Type.

5. Enter the File Name that ASM will be uploading (which is typically pets.csv).

6. Click Save Import Account.
