I'm updating our forms but noticed that if I remove a question or change the question to a group format, I lose the answers for all previous forms, even those who have adopted already. Is there a way to keep the previous information intact? Specifically, I added a Group - where will your cats live and did the little check boxes for choices, but when I remove the five separate questions on the form to be answered, someone who adopted from us six months ago no longer has those questions or their answers on their form. Is there a way to maintain the previous forms while updating for future applicants?

Can't believe I have the same question. Okay, let's see if I understand this correctly. If I go and add three questions to the list, and then update my Adoption Application by adding those three questions and removing the three that I'm replacing, it will stay exactly the same way as it is currently on the previous applicants or adopters' paperwork, but the NEW form will show the new questions?

Hugs, it's a holiday, I always have time to get crazy during the holidays.

But, when i remove the old question to the form, it removes those responses from every application that I ever did in the past 12 years.  I want a way to keep the previous applications intact without being changed, and going forward the new application will have what I want.

I have even gone so far as to try to create a new application but, when I add the Groups, the set up is wonky on some of them. For example, "Are You Employed?" I was able to get a column of choices for people to choose from (which I would like to see single spaced but can't figure that out yet.)  Then when I add the Caregiver Qualities, the first choice is on the same line as the question and then it goes down the row.  However, when I go back to the original Adoption Application and pull up a completed application, the question is totally skewed, including employment, so I have to go back and change those groups in order to have my original applications look normal.

I really don't want to recreate the wheel if I don't have to. 70 questions is a lot to have to add on and I thought the Group option would save me time.

          Candy,

You'll want to create a new question, then add that new question to the form.

          Thanks,

          Michelle
