Is there a difference in signins between portal.rescuegroups.org and rescuegroups.org/manage/?

I am able to log in on rescuegroups.org, but not on portal.rescuegroups.org. Do I need special permissions to use the old portal?

      Christy,

      Thre is no difference in login accounts.  However, the organization must enable use of the Portal in settings (Animals > Settings > Privacy Related Settings.).  As long as the organization has enabled the use of the portal the login works on both sites. 

      Please know that RescueGroups.org strongly recommends that you leave this setting disabled. The Portal interface is a legacy interface that will be phased out in future RescueGroups.org developments. Our guides and support are oriented towards using our standard interface for using your RescueGroups.org account as described here:https://userguide.rescuegroups.org/display/GWWRG/Getting+Started+with+RescueGroups.org+home+page

      If you continue to have trouble logging into the portal after confirming the organization has enabled the option you may want to clear your cache to ensure it is not a browser issue.  If you continue to have issues, please open a support ticket (https://rescuegroups.org/support/) so we can further troubleshoot.
